Eventually Helga returns with a plate of bread and cheese. Upon entering the room, she smiles briefly at Athelstan, but rushes to the bedside when she sees Floki's pained expression.

She sets the plate down and sits beside him, laying her cool hand on his forehead.

"What happened?" she asks Athelstan.
